What Your Supporting…
Many challenges with our youth in today’s environment can be traced to a lack of character traits, life skills, affirmation, self-worth, and/or positive mentorship. These challenges include but aren’t limited to bullying, disrespect, cheating, vandalism, profanity, and drug use. These challenges ultimately hinder childhood development, student achievement, safety, and the overall health and well-being of our future generation. Research statistics also show that “self-confidence” assessments scores on youth between 1st and 5th grade often drop dramatically over that period.
KAMS Foundation empowers and affirms elementary aged youth by helping them identify and embrace the unique “special” that lies within them. We use our YEP and Affirmation Initiative to address the challenges youth face today focusing on our four core values. KAMS Foundations’ Youth Empowerment Program and Affirmation Initiative strive to make a difference for these youth individually which will ultimately have a positive effect on our society as a whole.
