OUR CAUSES

International program

KAMS Foundation is excited to take our Mission internationally. Kamran was from a multi-cultural family and had a love for children and an appreciation for all nationalities, ethnicities, and cultures…he loved ALL people!

To reflect his heart, we intend to take KAMS’ Youth Empowerment Program to other countries when given the opportunity. KAMS believes that children are children… across the world…. and they are ALL unique, creative, precious creations who need to be affirmed for who THEY were created to be. KAMS’ core values of affirmation, character development, life skills, and mentorship are keys to success worldwide for individuals and for our society as a whole.

Kamran Siddiqui Campus
of TCF in Karachi Pakistan

Thanks to the generous hearts, efforts and financial support of Kamran’s Aunt and Uncle; Naim and Anjum Siddiqui, the Kamran Siddiqui Campus of TCF was built in Karachi Pakistan and
opened in 2019.

The Kamran Siddiqui Campus will provide elementary age children an education.

KAMS Foundation, Inc. has added The Kamran Siddiqui Campus of TCF in Karachi Pakistan as one of our International Causes to support.

In early 2018, a memorandum of understanding was signed with TCF to build the Kamran Siddiqui Campus. TCF is an NGO that provides education to over 280,000 children and operates 1833 schools in Pakistan. Please visit tcfusa.org for further information.

In April 2019, the campus was finally ready, and enrollment began. Currently the school has about 150 students in grades 1 through 5. The school is in a rural slum area and most children are expected to go to work. The goal is to get these children educated through primary school so that they can get further education in a secondary TCF school. Most children at the school come from extremely poor families and it is almost a miracle if they can go through the primary and the entire secondary school process.

Kamran’s passing in April of 2017 was a very traumatic for everyone in the family. He was the embodiment of what life is all about. A young man cut down in the prime of his life. How is his memory to be kept alive?

I witnessed the start of KAMS foundation and was astonished by the sustained efforts of Kamran’s parents and others to reach out to young children, in Southern California and help them make a life for themselves. I kept thinking of what I can do to second this effort.

Kamran has Pakistani roots as well. He loved meeting up with his cousins there and cared deeply for the downtrodden in Pakistan. Kamran Siddiqui Campus was an effort to keep his memory alive in Pakistan as well.

“KAMS is amazing, they donated affirmation balls for our trip to Guatemala. These soccer balls (affirmation balls) brought so much enjoyment and encouragement to the kids in the villages we were able to visit in Guatemala. I can see how these affirmation balls would be so effective here in the program that KAMS offers; giving a positive, refreshing and frankly a new message to the kids in our community.”

“So basically, the KAMS project was overall an excellent initiative. Considering my previous engagement with the community as a part of my course project and what we identified as a major issue facing the community was education. Now, education I believe not only in terms of academics but co-curricular and personal grooming as well.
KAMS provided a fulfilling palette of all of the above in a very inclusive manner through a multitude of activities working towards team development, critical thinking and empathizing with the community, while simultaneously developing a sense of compassion towards their fellow community members.

““The way they interacted with the kids was pretty nice.Their management was good. Their motive of teaching the children to understand respect and appreciate themselves and others was the best part.
